As you can probably guess from the title and cover, Rockoholic can be described in one word: fun. Rockoholic was an adventure that I wasn't expecting. I'll admit, I didn't get into it right away. It took some time, but once I did, I enjoyed this novel. I know I should have seen this coming, but I was a bit surprised by just how much Jody was obsessed with the rock star Jackson. I'm not talking about how much she loved him and his music, I talking about how border-line creepy she was with him. Although I didn't really relate to this, I was thoroughly entertained by this. But, I was especially glad when she grew and got a life away from this. Although I wouldn't exactly call Rockoholic realistic, it was still a fun and original adventure.

Now I'm intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this one but it sounds right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteHm. I'm now a bit worried about the main character being too stalker-ish. That's not exactly great in a protagonist, haha. Thanks for the honest review, Kapri! Glad you liked it overall.
