What is up with that ending!!
I've been a fan of this series and I really enjoyed the last book, The Hidden. It was fun and had just as much mystery and ghosts and action as the last, if not more.
The Hidden starts off right where The Haunted left off. It's been a while since I read The Haunted, and there's a lot I couldn't remember. But, I soon got into the rhythm of things.
Abby and Caspian's relationship was....corny. I'm not going to lie. But it was cute. I will admit, Caspian's clingyness got a bit annoying. It got better the second half, though.
Abby bothered me a lot more in this than in past books. Not a ton, but she was still annoying.
The ending.... wow. i'm still not sure how I feel about it. I'm not happy with it, but I'm not unhappy either, I suppose.
This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but I still enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved The Hollow, but The Haunted was kind of far off for me. I liked it, but at the same time, I didn't. I haven't read "The Hidden" yet, but I'm eager to see how it ends.
