Books I Did Not Get to in 2012

Sorry, y'all. I meant to post this a few days ago but forgot to. It's a little late but better late than never, eh?

So, I've seen some of these posts around, and decided to do one myself. There are a lot of great books that I did not get to read in 2012 and definitely will be reading (hopefully) soon in 2013.

The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1)
I love Maggie Seifvater so I was really excited to read this one. I actually started it, but had to return it to my library before I got the chance to finish. I'll have to get this one again.

The Darkest Minds
I've heard a lot of really good things about this one and I was excited to read it. Since it hasn't been out that long I don't feel too bad about not getting to it.

Insignia (Insignia, #1)
I've been eyeing this one for a while. Not long ago, it was on sale for about three dollars for my Nook, so I bought it.

Pandemonium (Delirium, #2)
I know, I know. I even checked this one out three or four times this year but never got around to it. I've heard it's amazing. But I think, since I've waited this long, I might as well wait until closer to when Requiem is released so I don't have to wait so long to read it.
Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1)
I bought this one closely to when it was released. Several people have just raved about this book. I don't know why, but I never got around to reading it. I definitely need to, soon!
Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)
Another one that people raved about, I bought, and never got to.

  1. I have yet to put up my post with this last, as it would be WAY too long. But I do have the Raven Boys on mine as well. I just read the Scorpio Races (in fact it was the first book I read in 2013!) and I really am a fan of Maggie Stievater. I love her name too:)
    Happy Reading in 2013!

  3. The last two books you listed were my Top 2 for this year! You absolutely MUST pick up Shadow & Bone and Grave Mercy. Both are utterly amazing, and I enjoyed them so much! Pandemonium was also fantastic, except that ending totally ripped my heart out. The pain, the pain! ;) But it may be a smart idea to hold off a little more, so you won't have to suffer the year-long wait for Requiem, like I have. =P

Fantastic list! I hope you get to all of these this year. =)

  4. Shadow & Bone was phenomenal, and easily one of my favourites of 2012. I hope you get a chance to read it this year, Kapri. :) I hope you enjoy all!
