Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Had to Buy

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate visit here.

This weeks top is books I had to buy but never read. I actually have quite a few of these, mostly from a few years ago. I've gotten better about buying (or not buying) books.

  1. Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey- There has been a lot of buzz about this book (or at least there used to be). I bought it and was pretty excited to read it--but never did.
  2. Jonas by Eden Maguire- I actually picked this one up at the grocery store. I probably could have passed on this one.
  3. Haven by Kristi Cook- I got this discounted when Borders went out of business.
  4. Lipstick Apology by Jennifer Jabaley- I bought this for a couple of dollars at my local outlet bookstore.
  5. Ophelia by Lisa Klein- Ditto
  6. A Spy in the House by Y.S. Lee- Bought this for super cheap when my local Hasting went out of business.
  7. Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton- Ditto.
  8. Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers- Got this when it came out. I've heard it's really good but the size just intimidated me.
  9. Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood- Bought this when it first came out, too. I actually read about half of it, but never finished. Not because it was bad or anything. I just started reading other things.
  10. Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler- This one I just bought at a book event.
In conclusion, bargain priced books are what get me in trouble. I definitely buy those more than anything even if I didn't intend to read them prior to that.

So, any books you think I should read like right now?
What books did you buy but never read?

Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Memories

As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate visit here.

This week's topic is favorite bookish memories! I have so many good ones to choose from...

  1. The first ARC I received. I didn't actually get it for review but won it from the author. It was The  Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. I also got a bunch of swag along with it (also my first book swag).
  2. The first book I actually received for review. It was O, Juliet by Robin Maxwell.
  3. My first author signing. I went to the Melissa Marr signing when Radiant Shadows came out.
  4. Meeting one of my favorite authors. Not long after the Melissa Marr signing, I went to see Kelley Armstrong. I love her so much and was so excited to see her.
  5. Getting Breaking Dawn at midnight--and staying up all night reading it. At the time I was sooo obsessed with this series. It's the first and only book that I went to get at midnight and it was pretty fun.
  6. Going to all of the midnight premiers of The Twilight Saga. Even though I don't feel the same way about the series anymore, it became tradition to see the movies at midnight.
  7. Going to the midnight premier of The Hunger Games movie. I just love midnight premiers and I love this series.
  8. When Sarah Strohemeyer commented on my review. Smart Girls Get What They Want is one of my favorite books and the author commented and tweeted about my review--and liked the picture that I drew for her book! My review is here
  9. Going to Colorado Teen Literature conference. It was a lot of fun going to this and I met a lot of awesome people here.
  10. Obsessing over a series (for years). There are very few books that I've had crazy obsessions on. Even though it's a bit, well, obsessive, it's still fun. To read more about my obsessions you can visit this post.

Top Ten Tuesday: Settings

As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic is Settings I'd like to see more of

  1. The mountains- I don't care where these mountains are, but mountains make a very interesting setting and really goes with paranormal/fantasy stories.
  2. The south- Have you noticed there aren't many YA books set in the south?  Sure, there's a few, but not as many as other places. Now, even though I've spent most of my life in Colorado, I'm a Texas girl at heart and plan to make my way back down there eventually (as in in a few months once I graduate). Anyway, I love the south and would love to see more books set in a good ole' southern town.
  3. Alaska- I just remember reading Winter Longing and loved the setting. It's not exactly somewhere I want to live, but it's really interesting.
  4. More exotic places- For instance, more books set in Central/ South America. Wanderlove got me hooked on that.
  5. More foreign Steampunk settings- Shadow and bone is set in steampunk Russia. Stormdancer is set in steampunk Japanese. I'm talking these kinds of settings.
What settings would you like to see more of?

Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Goals for 2013

As always Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic is book goals for 2013. I'm going to go ahead and throw in some blog goals as well.

  1. Read more books than last year. I think this one is pretty self-explanatory.
  2. Read more books that have been sitting on my shelf for what seems like forever. I have grown quite a collection and I would really like to get some of them read.
  3. Try not to get as many books from the library. If you know me at all, you know that I have a series addiction to going to my library. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it is when I'm bringing home a bunch of books twice a week. There's no way I can read all of those.
  4. Read library books before due date. I have so many books out that I can never get to, so I end up just rechecking them out five times before I ever get to reading them. A part of my problem.
  5. Interact more in the blogging community. This is always one for me. I actually did a lot better last year (although I kind of fell off the blogging planet the last month), but there's always room to grow in this area.
  6. Really working on expanding my blog. I've been blogging for four and a half years now and I feel that my blog isn't anywhere near where it should be. (Although please note: I love my blog and am so appreciative to anyone who reads it. I just feel that, if I work on it, it could be so much more).
  7. Start rereading series before a new book comes out. I've been wanting to do this for a while. Sometimes, when a new book comes out, I don't remember much from the previous books. Plus, it gives me an excuse to reread books that I remember really liking.
  8. Review almost every YA book that I read. I was doing very well with this for a while. But the last half of the year I got a little lazy.

What are some of your 2013 goals?

Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated 2013 Books

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic is books of 2013 I'm most anticipating. It was so hard to keep it just to ten because there are so many great books coming out next year!

Sadly, though, two of my favorite series are ending. So while I am dying of anticipation of these books, I just can't let these characters go.

1. Shadows in the Silence by Courtney Allison Moulton- This is my number one book I can't wait for next year. I am so excited for this book, you don't even know.
2. With All My Soul- No! I can't let Kaylee and Todd and Nash and Sabine and Emma go. I've been with these characters for six books and I will be with them one last times...
3. The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shephard- This one looks really good!
4. Just One Day by Gayle Forman- Gayle Forman is awesome. I can't wait to read another one of her books.
5. Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovenoff- This one looks really unique and good. Plus, I really enjoy Yovenoff's novels.
6. The Orginals by Cat Patrick- I've yet to read a Cat Patrick book (all two of them) that I didn't really enjoy.
7. Under the Light by Laura Whitcomb- I loved A Certain Slant of Light. I can't wait to read the sequel!.
8. The Dollhouse Asylum by Maray Gray- This one looks amazing and I love the cover!
9. Boundless by Cynthia Hand- Another good series ending.
10. Dare You To by Katie McGarry- Companion to Pushing the Limits, anyone?

Top Ten Tuesday: Kick Ass Heroines

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic (if you couldn't read the title) is Kick-ass heroines. Now, a couple of months ago, I actually did this post. But, I thought, I could reiterate it.

  1. Tris from Divergent by Veronica Roth
  2. Yelena from Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder-I love her and love this series!
  3. Rose from Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead-I forgot to include her in my list last time and had to add her this go around!
  4. Katsa from Garceling by Kristin Cashore-Honestly, I think she's the ultimate Kick-ass heroine. That, more or less, is her grace, after all.
  5. Riley from The Demon Trapper's Daughter by Jana Oliver- Riley goes through so much in this series! And through it all, she's always strong.
  6. Fire from Fire by Kristin Cashore-I couldn't have Katsa on this list without Fire.
  7. Ellie from Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton- She is by far my favorite heroine out there!
  8. Jacinda from Firelight by Sophie Jordan- Who doesn't love dragons?
  9. Chloe from The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong- This girl knows how to kick some supernatural butt!
  10. Katy from Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout- She's on this list because of her sass alone!
Whose on your list?

Top Ten Tuesday: Older Books that Shouldn't be Forgotten

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic is older books that may be forgotten but shouldn't be. Some of these books may not by that 'old,' but they're books that I feel are or could be forgotten and I'd like to bring attention back to them.

  1. The Nature of Jade by Deb Caletti-one of my favorite contemporaries. I haven't seen it around much but don't hesitate to reccomend.
  2. Willow by Juila Hoban-One of my favorites, period. Absolutely loved it and unfortunately haven't seen a lot of it.
  3. North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headly-A fantastic novel with a beautiful point.
  4. Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson-Another personal favorite of mine.
  5. She's so Money by Cherry Cheva-I haven's seen this one at all since I've read it. It's a hilarious read and the epitome of chick-lit
  6. Forgotten by Cat Patrick-I saw this one around quite a bit when it was released, but haven't since. It's a really unique novel and I really enjoyed it.
  7. Playing Hurt by Holly Schindler-A great contemporary.
  8. Life as We Know by by Susan Beth Pfeffer-This these books are truly wonderful post-apocalyptic series.
  9. Girl at Sea by Maureen Johnson- this one often gets overlooked by Johnson's other works, but this is my favorite. A really fun and unique adventure.
  10. A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb-Such a gorgeous ghost story. Definitely shouldn't be forgotten.
What are some books that you feel are/could be forgotten but shouldn't be?

Top Ten Tuesday: Series I've Yet to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's topic, as the title of this post states, is series that I have not finished.

  1. The Millennium series by Stieg Larsson-I've read the first two books in the series but I've yet to read the third for a few reasons. One, because it's so long that it's hard for me to commit to a book for so long that I'm not even going to review. Two, Because even though it is the last book, it's not the conclusion. The author died before he could finish the series, so this is the last book available and I know I will want to know what happens to the characters after this novel.
  2. The Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong-I honestly don't know why I haven't read the last book yet. I've had for quite some time. I think it's just because I don't want the series to end. After thirteen books, I've grown quite attached to this world and the characters in it.
  3. A Need so Beautiful series by Suzanne Young-I just read the first book a couple of weeks ago but haven't read the sequel yet. I really liked the first one so I should get on that soon.
  4. 13 to Life by Shannon Delany-I've read the first two books in this series. I really enjoy, but I just need to get on to reading the rest.
  5. Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout-I enjoyed the first book. I've had to sequel for some time now, I just need to read it.
  6. Fever series by Karen Marie Moning-Honestly, I didn't love this series like a lot of people have. But I've only have one book left and I want to know what happens. I just need to be motivated enough to pick it up.
  7. The Mediator by Meg Cabot- I just bought the last two books in this series so I should get around to them fairly soon!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on Fall TBR Pile

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information, upcoming topics, or to participate, visit here.

This weeks topic is top ten books on my Fall TBR   list. There are plenty of excellent and great-looking books coming out that it's hard to narrow down to ten!

Fall to Pieces Because It Is My Blood (Birthright, #2)
  1. Hidden by Sophie Jordan- I love this series and I'm excited (yet sad) to read the conclusion!
  2. Sapphire Blue by Kristin Gier- I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I'm patiently anticipating returning to this world.
  3. The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvator- I do not feel the need to explain this one.
  4. The Diviners by Libba Bray- I was really excited to learn that Bray was doing another period series. I loved her Gemma Doyle trilogy and I can't wait read this book. It just sounds awesome.
  5. Because it is My Blood by Gabrielle Zevin- I'm discovering that Zevin is one of my favorite authors and I'm anxiously awaiting this one!
  6. Live Through This by Mindi Scott-I loved Scott's debut and I can't wait to read her sophomore novel. It looks amazing!
  7. Stealing Parker by Miranda Keneally- ditto
  8. Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone- this one looks super unique and interesting!
  9. Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson- I anxious to see where James Patterson takes us after Maximum Ride.
  10. Fall to Pieces by Vahini Naidoo- This looks really interesting!

Top Ten Tuesday: Book Confessions

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate visit here.

This week's topic (in case you couldn't see in the title) is Top Ten Book Confessions. I think this is a really fun topic!

  1. I go to my local library a minimum of twice a week. But I can go up to four times a week. My library is my home away from home. It really doesn't help that it's so close to both my school and my house.
  2. On the same vein, I currently have about 25 books checked out from the library. That is not including library e-books, either.I am a nutcase and need to be contained.
  3. Sometimes I'll read a book without actually reading it. I'll finish a book and realize I have no idea what the book was about and then have to go back and pretty much reread it.
  4. It's been nearly two months since I've bought a book (see Confession #1) and that was only for a special occasion. I very rarely buy books.
  5. I will dog-ear pages when I read a quote/part that I like and want to go back to or if the book mentions a song that I want to check out.
  6. I never eat when reading. Never.
  7. I will simultaneously watch tv or a movie and read a book. What can I say? I'm a multitasker.
  8.  During school, I have to determine the number of pages I'm going to read of a book in day beforehand. I know this is super-lame or whatever but having a schedule like this is the only way I get any reading done during the school week.
  9. There are a few books that I received for review and have not read and/or reviewed yet. I'm a terrible person.
  10. Depending on the book, it takes me about 50-55 minutes to read 100 pages. I will time this out when reading.

Top Ten Tuesday: Most Vivid Worlds and Settings

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

It's been a while since I've done a Top Ten Tuesday, but what a perfect topic to come back to!

  1. Wanderlove by Kristin Hubbard-I loved watching this setting come to life. Hubbard did such a good job, I felt that I was actually in Central America right with the characters.
  2. Divergent by Veronica Roth-Roth really brought this world to life! It was kind of scary but I loved it.
  3. Girl at Sea by Maureen Johnson-This is another setting that I felt that I was there with the characters. It really added to the adventure.
  4. Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent- Whenever the book turns to the Netherworld, it's uber-creepy. But Rachel did an excellent job with it!
  5. Graceling by Kristin Cashore-I had no problem imagining this world. Cashore is an amazing writer!
  6. Thou Shalt Not Road Trip by Antony John-I loved seeing all of these sights. I felt like I was on a road trip, too1
  7. Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts- This really creepy world. Kind of scared me, actually.
  8. Across the Universe by Beth Revis-I loved getting to know this ship.
  9. The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong- I never really knew a lot about Amsterdam or what it looked like until I read this book. Armstrong did a good job describing it!
  10. Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine- I love learning about this creepy little town of Morganville.

Top Ten Tuesday: Beach Reads

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's theme is Top Ten Beach Reads, which is appropriate since it's summer!
Girl at Sea
Girl at Sea by Maureen Johnson
Boating, romance, and a treasure hunt. What more can you ask for?

Unbreak My Heart
One of my recent favorites. Again, more boating!

Wanderlove
You can't read this book and not want to travel!

Sarah Dessen Gift Set
Pretty much any Sarah Dessen book. They all have that summer feel. But if I have to recommend a few, I'd have to say The Truth about Forever and Along for the Ride.

Amy and Roger's Epic Detour
There is nothing I would like more than to go on a road trip...especially if it's with someone like Roger.

The Body Finder (The Body Finder, #1)
And when you want to take a break from all those others...curl up with a good murder mystery.

Moonglass
Nothing gives off the summer feeling more than Moonglass.

Stay
This one is pretty serious, but I still really like it.

The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer, #1)
A great yet heartbreaking summer read.

John Belushi Is Dead
What better way to spend your summer than to learn about dead famous people in John Belushi is Dead.

As I make this list, I realize that most summer novels are pretty sad and serious.

What's on your list this fine Tuesday?

Top Ten Tuesday: Fictional Crushes

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate visit here.

This week we are able to pick any past topic. I picked Top Ten (YA) Fictional Crushes since I didn't get to do this topic the first go-around. I'm not going to lie I'm going to have a lot of fun with this topic!

I will admit it was hard to choose only ten. There are so many out there, but these nice (or not so nice) young fellows really stand out.

  1. Carlos from Rules of Attraction- I do really like Alex but it's Carlos that holds my heart in this series. I know I'm probably the only one that feels that way, but hey. I can't help it.
  2. St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss- I really don't think I need to explain this one. Etienne or St. Clair or whatever it is you want to call him is just pure awesome.
  3. Will from Angelfire- Oh, Will. I love his bad-ass and protective nature. He can also be really sweet and funny when he wants to be.
  4. Tod from The Soul Screamers series- I love this reaper. Have since the first book, and he's just gotten more awesome.
  5. Guy from Willow- This guy (no pun intended) is super sweet and understanding.
  6. Cricket from Lola and the Boy Next Door- Alas, I could not put St. Clair on this list and leave Cricket out. Cricket is awesome, too. He's a super unique character and that's what I love about him.
  7. Dimitri from Vampire Academy- Oh, Dimitri. I don't think I need to explain this one, either.
  8. Beck from The Demon Trapper's Daughter- I have liked him from the first book, and he just gets better with every book.
  9. Noah from Pushing the Limits- Oh, he is a recent favorite. He may be a bad boy on the outside but he's really not. His loyalty and love to his friends and little brothers astound me.
  10. John After from Going to Far- I had trouble picking one Echols boy but John's probably my favorite.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books Read in Future Generations

As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate visit here.

This week's theme is books published in the last ten years that I hope are still being read in 30 years.

Jellicoe Road
This book was so awesome. There is so  much in it and it needs to be read by everyone.

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
I think this one is self explanatory

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)
I think people will be able to enjoy Graceling and this series for a long time.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)
I actually just finished this and it was awesome.

Sloppy Firsts (Jessica Darling, #1)
This series is a perfect portrayal of a teenage girl and coming of age. I think people in future generations will still be able to relate to it.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)
People should read this series for no other reason than to prove that not all vampire books are like Twilight. It is possible to have a kick-ass female character who is not a passive sissy moron.

Angelfire (Angelfire, #1)
And people should read this book to prove that not every books was about vampires. There are original ideas out there!

What's on your list this lovely Tuesday?

Top Ten Tuesday: Websites That Aren't About Books

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

As the title of this post suggests, this week's theme is top ten websites that aren't about books. I may get redundant here, because a lot of these sites are about the same thing.

  1. YouTube- Yay youtube! I mostly use this sight to look up music videos.
  2. Playlist.com- I use this, again, for music. I'll listen to this when reading and doing other activities. Here's the playlist I listen to the most:  http://www.playlist.com/g/#/playlist/20043750155 (I know it's called Mellow Mix but it's really not all mellow.)
  3. ITunes- This is pretty self-explanatory
  4. College websites- Yes, it's that time for me. I'm visiting a lot to find the right college and get scholarships and all that jazz.
  5. Amazon.com- I don't actually but a lot of stuff off of here, but I like browsing :)
  6. Maurices.com (and sights like it)- Again, I don't really buy clothes off the internet. But I like having an idea for when I go shopping!
  7. My school website- to check my grades :)
  8. DeviantArt.com- On top of reading, one of my interests is art. I browse this website for inspiration and just to look!
Note: I also visit Twitter, but since I strictly use that for my book blog, I didn't think it was appropriate for this list.

So, there you have it.
What non-bookish websites to you visit?

Top Ten Tuesday (14): Books I'd Play Hooky With

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

Spring Fever is about us. And that brings us to the list for this week: the top ten books I'd play hooky with this springs. I've got to say, It's not a hard list to make.

  1. In Honor by Jessi Kirby- I fell in love with the cover. And once I read the description, there was no going back. This is probably the book I'm most excited for that isn't a sequel.
  2. Last Right by Lisa Desrochers- I just finished Original Sin and I love this series. I can't wait to read the final book in the trilogy.
  3. Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore- I am on edge waiting until I can return to this world.
  4. City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare- And amazing series. Cant't wait to return to this one, either.
  5. Insurgent by Veronica Roth- Divergent  was one of my favorites last year. It was so compelling. If it was anything like the first, I wouldn't be able to do anything until I finished this book.
  6. The Peculiars by Maureen Doyle McQuerry- I love steampunk and this one looks so different from any other book.
  7. The Story of Us by Deb Caletti- While this author has her ups and downs (at least with me) I can't wait to see what she brings with this one.
  8. The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting- The series is so addicting. I love the mysteries. I certainly would be distracted while reading this.
  9. Thou Shalt Not Road Trip by Antony John- Road Trip? I'm hooked.
  10. The Calling by Kelley Armstrong- Not a lot happened in the first book, but I can tell it's going to pick up with this book. Plus I love Kelley. Plus, only one more book until they hook up with the characters from The Darkest Powers trilogy!
What books would you skip work/ school for this spring?

Top Ten Tuesday (13): Contemporaries

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information, or to participate, visit here.

This lovely Tuesday I am listing off my favorite contemporaries.  (in no particular order)

  1. Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta- Such a heartbreaking and utterly fabulous book. Couldn't recommend it more.
  2. The Nature of Jade by Deb Caletti- And thus begins my love-hate relationship with Deb Caletti. The same author  that brought me this favorite also brought some books that I don't like as much. But because of this book, I'm willing to give anything she does a try.
  3. Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson- Can you say road trip? I absolutely love books with road trips and this is what started it all.
  4. Where She Went by Gayle Forman- If I Stay was good, but this book is amazing. So real and so good and so beautiful.
  5. Anna and the French Kiss- I mean, come on. This is just an awesome book.
  6. Willow by Julia Hoban- Absolutely heartbreaking yet amazing.
  7. North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headly- This book was so powerful.
  8. Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles- I fell that I have to throw this one on this list. While it's a bit of a lighter read, I still find myself going back to it. Perfect Chemistry was good, but this is my favorite in the series.
  9. Bloom by Elizabeth Scott- Similar situation with Deb Caletti. But this book is just amazing.
  10. Girl at Sea by Maureen Johnson- One of my more recent favs. Adventure, mystery, treasure, a hot guy. What more can you ask for?

Top Ten Tuesday (12): Favorite Covers that AREN'T Girls in Dresses

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. For more information or to participate, visit here.

This week's theme (if you didn't know from the title of the post) is Top Ten Favorite Covers. I decided to go specific and do covers that aren't girls in dresses. It seems that those covers have been popping up more and more in the past year. While I thought they were pretty at first (which they are) they are kind of getting old. I want more original covers that tell me more about the story.

 1. A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb- I just love how creepy this cover is. I feel that it goes with the book really well.
2. The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan- This book manages to be pretty and yet still keep the creepiness and the feel of the book. I also like the second cover in this series. I'm not a fan of the first, since whenever I see the girl on The Forest of Hands and Teeth it reminds me of Wednesday from The Adams Family.
3. Bleeding Violet by Ria Deeves- I just think this is pretty. It doesn't completely capture the craziness of the book, but I still think it keeps the feel.
4. Wings of the Wicked by Courtney Allison Moulton- I like how this looks all pretty at first, and then you see the swords. Deadly.

5. Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr- This cover is really pretty and it has this magical feel to it.
6. In Honor by Jessi Kirby- Yes, I am kind of cheating because this is a girl in a dress. But it's not just some girl in a pretty fancy dress. I think you can tell a lot about this book from the cover. It has a very country and cute feel to it. I haven't read this yet but I want to just from the cover.
7. The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jenson- I just love how cutesy this cover is. It's original and I like that about it.
8. Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols- This is the first Jennifer Echols book I wouldn't be embarrassed about being seen reading. It's not overly cheesy like her romantic comedies and it doesn't have a boy and a girl like her other dramas. I actually think this is very pretty and I can't wait to read it.
9. John Belushi is Dead by Kathy Charles- I don't know why I like this cover so much. I love the pink hair and where the words are placed.
10. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith- This is a very cute cover but still manages to stay series. It's not too cheesey.
